  1. My mother’s best advice that I will pass on to my son/future children…”The grass is not always greener on the other side.” Oh and “Because I said so” lol

  2. Most valuable lessons learned through my parents actions: Love unconditionally, give without expecting anything in return, root for the underdog, and everything happens for a greater reason.

  3. Two important things my mom taught me: When in a relationship, try to out love one another, you can’t lose this way AND choose the one you reallly love for there’s nothing worse than to be lying in bed with one while longing for another.

  4. I’d have to say that some wisdom that I gained from my “Big Mama” was to be kind to everyone, regardless of what they say or do. She always said that you never know someone’s situation, you never know what it is that they’re battling internally, so be kind because it can go a long way! Ill def share this with my children and I continuously remind my nieces and nephews now! You could be the piece that completely rebuilds the bridge or the one that destroys it!

  5. One thing I was taught that I’ve passed on to my 7 beautiful girls (jokingly, but seriously lol) is “keep up with the game, keep up with your man” Men love sports, men like women, men love women who love sports! Keep up! 🙂

  6. My mother has influenced me in many ways. She has taught me not to give up and to strive from nothing less than success. She has inspired and helped me understand that “failure is not an option” a
