No Fabulous Photos This Week

Unfortunately, while I’m away, I don’t have access to my round-up of fabulous photos this week. I’ll be back next week with more posts and celebrity photos!

Enjoy your weekend!

Eye-Catching Lines

When you want to make your eyes appear wide-eyed and bright, reach for a liner. Using liner is essential to defining eyes and making them pop with a flattering look. While some BGs prefer to use liquid liners for a more precise line, others might opt for more user-friendly kohl pencils – I’ve used both.

For the daytime applying liner to the upper lid is key, while using it on the top and bottom for special outings, nights out on the town or dinner dates creates a more glamorous appearance. Although black is the most popular shade for us BGs, some makeup artists taut white liner a la 1970s as a must-have because it opens the eyes making them appear bigger and brighter.

No matter what liner you use, always choose a waterproof formula to help prevent smudging.

Would you ever try white eyeliner? Do you prefer liquid or pencils? What’s your favorite brand?

Staying Fit in the Summer!

There’s no season better to stay in shape than in the summer. It’s the perfect time of year because the weather generally allows us to partake in outdoor activities that are great for getting in shape. Since many of us BGs wear our hair naturally, long gone are the excuses of “sweating out our hair.” For us who do wear our hair pressed or chemically straightened, it’s time to do away with the hair excuse all together. We need to get out there and embrace an active and healthy lifestyle!

Here are my top 5 summer fitness activities:

1. Swimming
2. Running around the park
3. Volleyball on the beach
4. Rollerblading
5. Biking

What are some of your favorite outdoor physical activities to do during the summer? Please share!

My 200th Post!!

When I started this blog last September, I knew that I wanted to write about my favorite things: fashion, beauty products and celebrities/entertainment. I’ve always enjoyed writing so I wanted this blog to serve as my outlet. I never knew that people would actually enjoy reading it, but I am so glad that you guys do!

I’ve been thinking about incorporating a few more topics into BGG, but I’d love to hear what you guys would like to read about.

Please share your ideas.

I can’t believe this is my 200th post. Again, thanks sooooo much for reading BGG and leaving comments; your support is really appreciated.

So Fresh & So Clean!

Nothing is hotter than white in the summer! Whether you wear a crisp white dress or a pair of fitted white jeans, when you wear this classic hue you will definitely look chic and stay cool at the same time!

Do you wear white in the summer?

P.S I’m in Chicago all week on a much needed vacation to spend time with my friends and family so I won’t be able to check out other blogs like I normally do, but I will still try do my posts and will catch up on my favorite blogs when I return! 🙂

Double-Duty Moisturizers

I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of foundations; but tinted moisturizers with SPFs are nice alternatives. These light-weight formulas do double-duty because they act as an SPF moisturizer, which protects your skin from the sun, as well as provide a bit of coverage. They’re especially great to use during the summer when you don’t want to apply a heavy base. With tinted moisturizers, you can forgo your foundation, which allows your skin to breathe. Plus, you can still maintain a fresh and sheer look without looking “made-up.”

The best part is that they’re just like us BGs, you can find them in all shades!

Have you ever used tinted moisturizers?

Happy Feet!

Now that summer is officially only a few days away, it’s time to sport those cute toe-baring shoes if you haven’t already! In order to wear your killer gladiator sandals or fabulous peep-toe pumps with confidence, having a nice pedicure is mandatory. Having chipped polish and ashy heels is not a good look and can take away from your overall BG chicness.

Do you give yourself at-home pedicures?
