Despite the fact we’re expecting a foot of snow here in New York today, I’m still thinking bright thoughts when it comes to spring. Since I rarely wear anything besides dark colors and a few neutrals during the colder months, spring is the time when I slowly begin to add a dash of color to my wardrobe. Although I’m generally not a huge fan of color when it comes to clothes, bright things like flowers in bloom and blue skies do inspire me to play around with color a bit.
Are you a fan of color year-round or are you like me, only wear it a little here and there during the spring/summer seasons?

I generally wear neutrals and black all year round..lol However I like to add color in every now and then. I love that blue sweater, I would wear that right now.

I love color and wear it throughout the year.
Several years ago I realized that I had only dark colors in my closet and refused to by anything in black, brown, navy.
Eventually I ran out of darks as I migrated away from certain styles and now I only have classic staple pieces in dark colors.
BGG, I naturally migrate towards neutrals but every year I force myself to buy some colorful pieces so people don’t think I’m a vampire! I love all the colorful pics you chose especially the swing jacket/sweater!
like the previous ladies, i noticed that i mainly owned clothes in black, white and blue (my fav color). blame it on my new york and architecture background…black is always the new black, haha! but when i noticed this, i decided to consciously buy brighter colors, whether it’s a short sleeve blouse, or a turtleneck. when i see a style i like, i make sure to look for other colors, then scan through a mental inventory of the colors i already own.
I wear everything, lots of black, lots of color. It really just depends on what’s clean and doesn’t need to be ironed in the morning. LOL!

i like to do a pop of color in the cooler months but i get real colorful in the spring/summer so you know i’m excited for warm weather. we just got a snow storm so i know it will be while longer 🙁
If I could only wear color all the time I would. Although I feel most secure in blacks and greys, color gives me an extra pep in my step.

Colored clothes always make me think of sunny L.A. or Miami – two places I wish I could be right now! LOL

I typically wear bold bright colors during the summer. I typically wear black the remainder of the year.
It’s very sad but my emotions have a huge influence on what I wear so I have to wear bright, bold colors year-round. They help me get through the mundane winter months and further bring a pop to me during spring/summer. Color just makes me feel good!

I am actually worse than you BGG. I only wear brown, tan, cream, black or gray. My students make fun of me all the time because I never wear a splach of color anywhere. Even my makeup is neutral!

I love colors. I used to wear a lot of black but I have recently found my self picking up more items with color. I love the orange jacket.
