VH1’s ‘Dear Mama: A Love Letter to Moms’ Set to Premiere May 7

A mother’s love is unmatched.

That’s why VH1 is celebrating the women who gave us life with a special Mother’s Day tribute, “Dear Mama: A Love Letter to Moms,” premiering Monday, May 7th. Co-hosted by Anthony Anderson and La La Anthony, the show will feature celebrities honoring the women who helped shape them into the accomplished individuals they are today.

From Sean “Diddy” Combs to Gabrielle Union, the star-studded lineup will recognize their mothers in true VH1 fashion with surprise serenades and memorable performances from artists like Ne-Yo, Jhené Aiko and the legendary Patti LaBelle.

Plus, sentimental moments like Teyana Taylor thanking her mom for being a wonderful role model, and Colin Kaepernick praising his mom for giving him the best life she could, will undoubtedly pull at viewers’ heartstrings.

Produced by Queen Latifah’s Flava Unit and Jesse Collins, the two-hour program, which took place at the Ace Theater in downtown Los Angeles will be the perfect show to watch with your mom.
